This is a very simple project I created to teach numerous skills and concepts.
All you need is any software application with a drawing program.
I have used both Appleworks and ArtDabbler to do this projects. To create a "Math Cube" is easy.
Have the students construct a cross out of squares. (See Cube Template Link). The students can use the
art tools to draw different colors and textures on each of the sides. Print the finished cross and cut it out.
Use tape to assemble the cube and attach a ribbon. (See Math Art Cube Link)
This is a great project to practice mouse skills, using drawing tools, and fundamentals of 3-D design.
